I am an associate professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Mount Saint Vincent University. I have also lectured in the Cultural Studies Program. My research and teaching revolves around the production, distribution and reception of Canadian cultural goods, such as books, movies, music, television productions and radio programs. I am currently working on a project that investigates the role of reading in the everyday lives of Americans, Brits and Canadians. I blog, tweet and YouTube, and am most likely on some watch list in my native US.
